At the opening of her meeting today (Thursday, 26 June 2008) with Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni said:
"Today another Kassam rocket was fired on Israel. There was a similar violation two days ago. I do not care which organization fired the rocket, Israel must respond militarily and immediately. I made my position clear to both Prime Minister Olmert and the Minister of Defense after the first violation, and I will do so with my foreign colleagues as well."
